Are the toys new?Great question! Our toy bags are a fun mix of new and pre-loved treasures. Since sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at TOTS, most of the toys will be pre-loved, carefully selected and in shape, ready for a new adventure. It’s all about sharing the fun while keeping our planet happy too!

What happens if my child breaks a toy or loses it?We totally get it—sometimes toys go on wild adventures and end up a little worse for wear. It's perfectly fine if a toy or two gets broken! However, if it starts happening more often, we might ask for a small breakage or loss fee, which will be super reasonable and based on the toy's age. But here’s a fun alternative—you could donate a few toys to TOTS to make up for it, and keep the good vibes going! At TOTS, we love to encourage kids to appreciate and take care of their toys. It could be a great opportunity to help your child learn that valuable lesson too!

What if my child wants to keep a toy?Oh! Tell me about it! We totally understand—kids can form special bonds with certain toys. If your little one just isn't ready to part ways yet, no worries at all! You can keep the entire bag for another 2 weeks—just drop us a quick message at info@toyontheshelf.com, and we’ll extend it for you. Or, if you think they're up for a new adventure, you could always remind them that a whole new bag of amazing toys is just around the corner, waiting to bring even more excitement into their day!

How many toys are in the bag?The number of toys in each bag can range from 5 to 10, depending on the kind of play the bag is designed for. Sometimes it’s all about quality over quantity, but rest assured, every bag is packed with fun and excitement tailored for playtime!

Can I chose the type of toy in my bag?Right now, we offer the option of mixed, gender-neutral toys, or you can choose toys geared toward boys or girls. If your little one has any special preferences, you can note them in the “Additional Information” section during sign-up. But hey, we don’t offer super-specific toys because let’s be honest—kids change their minds about their favorites faster than a toddler can say "mine!" So, sit back and let us surprise them with something new to love each time! Less stress for you, more fun for them!

Can I swap a toy if my child does'nt like it?The beauty of TOTS is that you never get stuck with a toy your child doesn’t like! If one toy doesn’t quite hit the mark, no problem—next fortnight, it’ll be swapped out for something new and exciting. We totally understand that not every toy will be a favorite, and that’s the magic of TOTS—every couple of weeks, there’s always a fresh batch of fun waiting to be discovered!

How much are the toys worth in each bag?Each bag is packed with a retail value of around $150+ worth of toys—that’s over $300 in toys every month for just $45! Your child gets a fantastic variety of toys to play with, while you get incredible value at a fraction of the cost. Now that’s what we call a win-win!

How often do you deliver?Toy on the Shelf (TOTS) delivers toys every fortnite or two times a month!

Do I have to be at home for delivery?Not really! We will leave the package in a safe location, outside your door for you. If however you think, its not safe to leave the package at your door, please send us an email at info@toyontheshelf.com and we can arrange for the package to be dropped off some other place. Please Note: Since we will also be picking up toys from the previous fortnight, please make sure, the old toys are in the same spot so we can make the switch.

What if I want to change my delivery day?Just send us an email on info@toyontheshelf.com and we will take care of it.

Is the Delivery Free?Yes, the Toy on the Shelf deliveries are free.

What if my family size changes - Can I adjust my subscription?Yes! If you welcome a new little one or your playtime needs change, you can always adjust your subscription to accommodate your growing family. Just drop us a message, and we’ll update your plan. Can I pause or cancel my subscription?Of course! You can easily pause or cancel your subscription at any time. Just let us know atleast 48 hours before your next delivery, and we’ll take care of the rest.
